Planning for a Child’s Medical Care during Parental Absence

  Going on vacation or leaving children for an extended period of time often prompts parents to create an estate plan in case something happens to the parents while they are away.  This is an understandable desire.  However, there is a potential situation that is often overlooked by parents.  What happens if there is a medical emergency involving the child while the parents are away?  The simple response is that the parents are contacted and will come home to make the medical decisions for the child.  But, it is not always that simple.

Speed is Power:  Minimize your exposure when your customer files for Bankruptcy.
